The Rock Exotica Pirate Screw-lock features a unique barrel with anodized internal parts and enlarged top flange to prevent the screw-sleeve from moving past the end of the gate. The light weight and high-strength performance of the Rock Exotica Pirate along with a smooth acting screw-lock make this an essential carabiner for rope access and rope rescue practitioners. Patented key-lock nose, so no more rope snag. Rock Exotica’s carabiners have the highest inward gate/sleeve strength (7kN on the Pirate). Weighs in at only 80 g. Designed and manufactured in the USA. All Rock Exotica carabiners are individually tested to half their rated strength.
